Welcome to the official website of the 4^th Indian International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IICAI-09). IICAI-09 will be held during December 2009 in India. The exact dates and venue details will be announced later on. IICAI is a series of high quality technical events in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and is also one of the major AI events in the world.

Venue proposals: The conference committee is looking forward for a suitable venue (in India) for the 2009 conference to be held in December 2009. The 1^st preference for the venue is an institute or an organization or an enterprise and the next preference is a hotel. Please contact the conference chair if you wish to discuss this matter.

The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in AI and related fields in India and the rest of the world. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between AI researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in India and abroad. The conference will be held every two years to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in AI and related areas.

Most recently, the 3^rd Indian International Conference on Artifcial Intelligence (IICAI-07) was held in Pune during December 17-19 2007. IICAI-07 received around 800 paper submissions from around 40 different countries. Around 150 papers are accepted. Click here for some pictures from that event.

English is the official language of the conference. We welcome paper submissions.
